Writing prompt:
The definition of the word is “done on purpose; deliberate”.  God is the very epitome of the word…everything he does is with purpose. So how can we be intentional in our daily choices, or daily walk?

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’ Jeremiah 29:11

A Design Focus:
Another word for composition is design, or plan. And to create this, you have to make decisions. And this is where we can be intentional. Not knowing how to use composition on my art journal pages was my biggest frustration when I was starting out. I’d love to share with you some simple ideas that helped me get unstuck!

A Technique:
We’ve been doing this all along…creating layers with papers we glue, ribbons and other things. Today we will talk a bit more “intentionally” about collaging and I’d love for everyone to share an idea for a collage they have tried or would like to try.

Materials to bring
Your Journal
Something from home – a page from another journal, a shopping list or reciept or page of a book…anything you can glue onto your page.
