Writing Prompts
These prompts are for you to use if you like. Each is made up of one short scripture and a brief reflection. The purpose is to inspire your own creative ideas. You can use all the words from the scripture or the reflection, or one word, if that is what you feel led to. You can print out the prompt and cut out the words and use them as part of your art, or use no words at all, and let your art be your interpretation or response.
There truly is no wrong way to do this...the purpose of the prompt is to simply to start a conversation between your heart and God. Let Him guide you through the creative process, and you will be delighted by the results.
By the way, our writing prompts begin with Genesis 1 and will end with Revelations 22, so that we will go through the entire Bible by the end of 2019.
